Activity: Commentary:

Used the internet to locate some elementary schools in Cherokee County.

I emailed couple of Principals from different counties. (Marietta, Fulton, & Cumming)

While other counties refused to let me in there school I began to email Principal Johnson. School location in Roswell, GA

I briefly introduced myself by email to Principal Johnson.

Received an email from Principal Johnson. She wanted me to go meet her.

I prepared everything I needed to go meet up with Principal Johnson. (the forms the class received the first week of school)

Comment/Suggestions:

Cherokee County is not my best option.

As I was writing the emails I was specific about what my project was about. It was not enough explaining.

From the beginnings of October I seriously needed to find a PF.

She liked how I would write my emails, but I needed to work on communicating with her more.

It was time for me to be professional.

I met Principal Johnson. I introduced myself and my Senior Project. She read my forms and knew exactly what I was talking about.

Emailed me that she had had a teacher for me to be my PF. Her name was Ms. Rogers. RogersN@fultonschools.org

Met Ms. Rogers in person. Also introduced to her class. I got to stay and just look how a regular day of kindergarten goes by.

I got to talk to Mrs. Rogers and how we were going to work on my Project. & and I also had lunch Thanksgiving lunch with her class.

The last time we emailed and communicating regarding my SP till 2012.

I was nervous, but Mrs. Johnson said it was normal.

Exited and ready to work on my Senior Project

Amazed of how many activities they do. And that her students actually do pay attention.

She had great ideas that could fit both in her schedule and mine
