People across the world are, more than ever, looking for greater trust and transparency in their food supply and seeking greater authenticity. In a global world, food cultures also go global (and food takes over social media!). The transformative power of food on human health is increasingly being understood but so also is the need for sustainable agriculture. And while obesity is at epidemic levels in some parts of the world, sadly 2 billion people go hungry. Meanwhile, digital is changing everything from where, how and who we get our information from and how we shop, to radically different new business models. These are just a few of the changes. There are plenty of others. Unilever has different food businesses, one of them is the Baking, Cooking and Spreads segment, which includes renowned brands like Flora, Flora ProActiv, Becel, Country Crock, I can’t believe it’s not Butter!, and Stork among others. Our core business is margarine, which is a blend of vegetable oils that bring together a delicious taste and has a good nutrition profile. Other products include Liquid Cooking Margarine, Cooking Oils and Creams alternatives. We are after ideas that can help us expand the business by addressing the growing consumer interest in plant-based products, ideas to change people’s behaviours and improve their lives in the future. We are looking for BIG IDEAS in following categories: • PRODUCT INNOVATION (flavour, ingredient, texture, packaging etc.) • SERVICES (subscription, home delivery, nutrition advisory etc.) • COMMUNICATION (communicating the benefits of taste, health, plant based products at different touch-points) DigitaL (apps that can help people to change behaviour and learn more about nutrition, games for kids etc.) • EXPERIENCES (activations, events etc.) Use the back page of this flyer to submit your idea.
