Enaspol a. s. is a chemical company with more than 40 years of experience in research and the manufacture of surfactants, construction chemicals, textile auxiliaries and other performance products. The plant is located in the municipality of Velvěty in Northern Bohemia, halfway between Prague and the Saxon metropolis of Dresden.

Chemical production on the premises of what is now known as Enaspol was launched shortly after World War II. During the communist era Enaspol was part of a chemical syndicate Spolchemie Ústí nad Labem. A plant for the production of surfactants and textile auxiliaries was built between the years 1968 – 1969. The production segment was extended to the manufacture of construction chemicals one year later. Simultaneously, the plant became a major producer of textile auxiliaries for the whole communist block.

Enaspol a. s. is a leading producer of performance and intermediate chemicals in the Czech Republic. Enaspol’s product portfolio consists of large variety of chemicals. The company is the region’s key supplier of surfactants which serve as the feedstock for personal and home care formulations as well as for industrial cleaning applications. The groundwork of our surfactants consists of anionic surfactants manufactured on the continuous sulfonation line. Other surfactant branches include a number of nonionic, amphoteric and hydrotropic surfactants.

Second most important segment of our production is the manufacture of construction chemicals. Most of our construction chemicals consist of high--performance polymers based on polynaphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde condensates. These are involved in various industrial applications such as concrete superplasticizers (high -range water reducers), setting retarders and accelerators, concrete and gypsum fluidizers, curing agents, dispersing agents for textile dyeing, leather tanning, latex dispersions and pulp and pa-per refinement. In addition, we produce variety of non -naphthalene -based construction chemicals such as mould release agents, air-entraining agents, water repelling impregnations, deaerating agents, foaming and defoaming agents, degreasing and wetting agents, antifreeze admixtures, cleaning agents, corrosion inhibitors etc.

Our corporate strategy is aimed at sustainable research and development and in addition cares for our customers in terms of high -quality standards of our products and customer service. Furthermore, Enaspol consistently acts in full accordance with all chemical legislations and regulations. Within the past two years we have invested large financial resources and effort to comply with the REACH Regulation and duly met all requirements arising from the Regulation.
