The Power Deck company specializes in Remote Firing Devices (RFD).

operate in both surface and underground operations; providing

superior blasting performance. The RFD has proven to be a valuable

tool for any blasting operation. As a valuable tool, they will improve

The 1674 model is a compact and cost efficient remote firing device.

It provides for a 3-5 mile two-way communication range (LOS), fast

operation, rechargeable batteries, and bright LED lights for visibility

in direct sunlight. It comes housed in a waterproof and submersible

case. In addition to being able to withstand harsh conditions, it

operates under a 16 hour run time on a full charge. Plus, it has the

capability of firing up to two remotes.

The 1674’s radio system signal is digitally encoded (addressed). The

latest microprocessor and message encoding/validation technology

GAUGE WEIGHT

This fiberglass depth gauge comes marked, on both sides, with feet and Inch demarca-tions, in easy to see red and black ink, covered by a protective poly-coating. On one end you have the handle and on the other end is a clip for switching out different size weights. This depth gauge can be purchased alone or ready to use with an attached weight. The tensile strength is 100kg/ 200lbs.

POWER DECK® PLUGS

THE POWER DECK SYSTEM

The Power Deck System is a blasting tool that has become a standard

operating procedure for some of the worlds largest mining operations.

The Power Deck Plug is being used to achieve the following:

• Reduce explosive usage

• Decrease the amount of needed subdrill

• Decrease vibration

• Improve fragmentation

• Dry up wet holes

• Decking through cracks and caves

• Blasting over deep mines

POWER DECK PLUG

The Power Deck comes assembled to a wooden or plastic support.

The unit is then simply dropped into the blast hole.

POWER DECK PRE-PLUG SPLIT

The Pre-Split Plug is used exactly like the Power Deck Plug but has a

specific length of rope attached rather than being attached to a wood/

plastic support. The plug is dropped into the hole and falls to the

desired length of the pre-measured rope. Due to design elements the

Pre-Split plug is able to support a full column of explosives without

slipping or failing. These plugs are easy to use and provides reliable

results.
