Our History

Lancer’s engineers first introduced our industry-leading beverage dispensing equipment over 40 years ago, in San Antonio, Texas. Over those four decades the Lancer name has been synonymous with quality. From our top-selling Ice Beverage Dispensers (IBD), to our patented LEV valves, we are recognized worldwide as the leader in high-quality beverage dispensing solutions.

Throughout our history we have consistently exceeded customer expectations, delivering quality products, a passionate focus on innovation, and reliable engineering expertise. As our reputation for innovation grew, our business grew as well. Our ability to excel at delivering profitable, quality solutions continues to drive our success and our presence today as a globally recognized leader in the Beverage Dispensing industry.

These qualities led the Hoshizaki Electric Co. Ltd. to purchase Lancer Corporation in 2006. We are proud to be a subsidiary of Hoshizaki Electric, one of the world’s largest suppliers of commercial kitchen equipment. This partnership broadened Hoshizaki’s presence in the marketplace and paired Lancer with the world’s second largest manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment. With sales of nearly $1.4 billion and a service network in over 60 countries, Hoshizaki has fueled Lancer Corporation’s growth and expanded our role as a global leader in Beverage Dispensing Equipment.

Where We Do Business

Lancer’s corporate offices and our state-of-the-art testing laboratory are in San Antonio, Texas. We oversee manufacturing facilities in the United States, Mexico and Australia, operate six plants in Japan, and one plant in England. Our brand is known and relied upon, worldwide, and our network of 34 strategically located distributors supply beverage dispensing equipment to more than 60 countries.

What We Do

Lancer manufactures a complete array of mechanically cooled and ice-cooled soft drink dispensers, dispensing valves, carbonators, and beer dispensing equipment, as well as an extensive line of beverage dispensing parts and accessories. Our diverse product line is consistently successful in a wide-range of environments, from foodservice operations to convenience stores and supermarkets.

Lancer’s New State-of-the-Art Testing Laboratory

Meeting Coca-Cola’s stringent requirements in all areas (quality, technology and maintenance), the Lancer Laboratory is one of only three approved Coca-Cola testing facilities in the world.

Lancer’s new testing laboratory, the result of a relocation and expansion investment of almost $1M, features cutting-edge technology with data acquisition instrumentation and software, an environmental test chamber, a dedicated “wet room" for reliability testing, and an independent drainage system that concludes with a eco-friendly syrup recovery and treatment system. The lab is used for certification of Beverage Dispensing Equipment, reliability and lifecycle proving of parts and equipment, quality assurance, and new product development testing on all of Lancer’s products.
