PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The Green Housing Co. co-ordinates all the appointed contractors, suppliers, nominated

suppliers and all other involved parties. The project manager uses MS Projects program

(Ghant chart or critical path analysis) to control the project. The project manager maintains a

close communication between all parties involved in the project. The project manager

ensures that the project is completed within the set time frames; the highest quality is maintained and finished with budget

ARCHITECTURE

‘Green’ has become a buzzword for sustainable, safe, energy efficient and/or economic.

Green architecture is described as a ‘philosophy of architecture that advocates sustainable

energy sources, the conservation of energy, the reuse and safety of building materials, and

the siting of a building with consideration of its impact on the environment’. Feasible or

Sustainable architecture in South Africa is finding new ways to cut costs, take lessons from

traditional building methods, conserve energy, promote reuse and remain relevant.

INTERIOR DESIGN

The Green Housing Co. will guide you selecting the materials, layout, space

distribution, interior walls arrangement and can guide all relationships between all

related professionals working in the construction project. Also, we will plan the

decoration and themes to work around your space and will help you create functional

and proper space distribution within your space. Our designers will start working around

with ideas like finishing details, furniture, colour, equipment and related objects and

spaces that will meet the needs of his client.

GREEN BUILDING

Also known as green construction or sustainable building. Refers to both a structure and

the application of processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient

throughout a building & life-cycle: from planning to design, construction, operation,

maintenance, renovation, and demolition. This requires close cooperation of the

contractor, the architects, the engineers, and the client at all project stages. The Green

Building practice expands and complements the classical building design concerns of

economy, utility, durability, and comfort

TURN-KEY

Is a type of project that is constructed so that it can be sold to any buyer as a

completed product. The Green Housing Company provides a property

development solution from concept to completion - “soap in a soap-dish”.
