Moneris RH Recrutar PROCUREMENT MANAGER (M/F) Grupo Moneris is promoting the recruiting of a Procurement Manager (m/f) for a multinational and leading industrial company specializing in the manufacture of electronic components based in Évora. Education and Experience: • Minimum experience of 3-5 years purchasing in a manufacturing environment; • Bachelors of Engineering or Commercial studies (Master’s preferred). Job Description: • Knowledge of placing standard and blanket purchase orders (PO) for inventory, service and expense transactions as a member of a Commodity organized Global Purchasing team; • Purchasing knowledge of indirect service and capital expense (“CAPEX”) transactions; • Analyze assigned commodities for the purpose of developing supply synergies and strategic planning; • Develop, distribute and manage Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) from start to finish, while being able to report during relevant stages of the process; • Research, identify, seek and obtain pertinent commodity data through monitoring internal metrics, gathering industry information and working with current or potential suppliers; • Lead negotiations within assigned supply base; • Review and revise supplier agreements and related contractual documents to be issued for managerial approval; • Assist to manage supplier quality and delivery performance, supplier quality improvement and conduct quarterly business review; • Cost efficient Country sourcing activities will be important and part of the job; • Team member of Cross-functional teams, joint work with R&D, Quality, Logistics, General Management; • Monitor and report compliance of supplier contracts; • Lead 2 Procurement teams in two plants with app. 3people. Profile: • Well organized, detail oriented, self-motivated problem solver; • Manages and performs complex work that has significant impact on achieving business goals; • Functions independently within broadly defined scope; • Minimal guidance required in performing negotiations and contract review; • Employs discipline when defining, measuring and achieving desired results and objectives on multiple projects; • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with most levels of management internally and with external suppliers; • Provides timely and effective written and verbal communications; • Language skills: Fluently English, more languages welcome; • Proficiency in: general business software (Microsoft Office), Oracle ERP, industry analysis, supplier selection, negotiations, contract review, request for proposal (RFP/RFQ), nondisclosure agreements and working in a team environment; • Travelling availability.
