I still need to cut more wheels and the handle. Ohh I almost forgot the ballet clothe. I REALLY DO NEED the ballet cloth.

1. What did I do?

Today I did some filing and sanding my project. I didn’t have much time to do other piece. We only had one period of DT. So first of all, when I went to DT workshop I wore apron and then took coping saw and half-round file. I used half- round file to make the edge smooth.

2. The emotion

When I was using disc-sander to sand my project, I was a bit worried about I would cut the project really in bad way. Plus I used coping saw to cut my penguin’s mouth. When the coping saw stick in the project, I always think I might break the blade. However I didn’t break the blade yet and I hope I wouldn’t break the blade in this project.

3. Changes to your plan

I had some changes in my plan. After I finished with cutting and filing the “penguin” and “Ice Flow”, I felt that my penguin’s mouth is quiet big and looks weird. So I cut the mouthpart to look more realistic.

4. What’s next?

When I am back from the holiday (Nov 1st and 2nd), I will still need to file and sand my thing. Maybe I will make some realistic ice. Which means I need to do some cutting to. Woohoo I cannot imagine my moving toy. The whole thing.

5. Why?

Now, I am in creating stage. I guess I am in the middle part of creating stage. I still need to cut more wheels and the handle. Ohh I almost forgot the ballet clothe. I REALLY DO NEED the ballet cloth.

6. A.O.I & Learner Profile

The A.O.I of this project is human ingenuity, because human ingenuity means made by man. We are actually making the toy by ourselves. The learner profile of today is thinker because I

needed to think I should cut the mouthpart and need to sand my project again.
