Motivation

Why Project Management on the basis of a systematic process?

• Enables effective Project Management on each level of projects.

• Clear an comprehensible process instructions help the PM to do his job.

• Each project within RS will be conducted in a similar way according to CMMI level 2 requirements.

What are the benefits?

• Safes time in managing projects

• Ensures high quality of the project result

ScopeThe Project Management Process shall be applied to all development projects within

SV C RS.

On the System / Product Level as well as on the sub-project level as SW- Projects,

HW-Projects etc..

This PM Process Description will not replace the valid P73001 but describe the PM's tasks

within RS projects.

Examples:

System level: Honda Accord 06; Daimler Chrysler ARAMIS; VW 81

Product level: gSat4; OCS; 3DCamera, IPPS, AWS

Sub-Project level: SW-Module development (CAN,.....)

Algorithm development (MSA,.......)

ASIC - development (APACHE,........)

MD – development (AWS-Sensor mechanics,.......)
