Process for Dematerialization of Physical Shares

Pre Approval process of DRF and Certificate

All the DRF (Equity & Mutual Fund) along with shares certificate and SOA (Statement of Account) must get

pre approved, as demat request data entry will not be accepted by the system in case same is not pre

approved.

Step 1 : Select option Slip Requisition(maker) � For Drf.

Pre-verification: Selection option for DRF

Select “For DRF”

Following screen will be displayed. Fill in the details as per the DRF submitted by client. Attach scan

image of DRF and share certificate in the respective option given in the option. Click on Save/ Update.

The scan image should be in JPG format and the file size should not be more

than 150 KB.

“Data Saved Successfully” message will be displayed on successful submission.

Status of pre-verification is available under option Slip Requisition (maker) � For Drf �Reports as shown below.

Updating of Rejected Entries:

Rejection status: In case of rejection edit data by clicking in the box

The details window will open up for rectification. Rectify the objection raised by HO and rescan the documents. Re-

upload the new images for pre approval of the same by following the above process.

Once the records are approved the status of the same will be shown in report as follows. All approved records are

now ready for further data punching and processing.

Data entry for approved records of DRF

Data entry for Dematerialization is available under option

Transaction Processing ���� Dematerialisation ���� Dematerialisation (Maker)

Following screen will be displayed. Fill then details as per the DRF submitted by client. Click on Save/ Update option

after details of DRF is completely entered in the system. For Dematerialisation of Equity shares

Note: When there is more than one certificate, press “ENTER” key twice after entering distinctive certificate

details of certificate to add row for entering details of another certificate. This should be continuing until

details of all the certificates are entered.

For Mutual fund demat request select Mutual Fund as shown below

Once the data is successfully saved in demat maker option, send the DRF and Original certificates to HO for further

process. You can check the status of the DRF dispatched to HO in Maker and Checker���� Select Report Type and

Select Transaction Type as follows :

The DRF status will be available in column “Status”. Different type of status which will be available is given below.

Status 1 : Data entered by you and hard copy sent to HO the status will be “ Maker Entered”

Status 2 : DRF is processed and sent to RTA for demat the status will be “SET UP”

Status 3 : Share are dematerialized by RTA and credited to clients account the status will be “Confirmed”

Report : Demat Activity Report : ���� In case the demat request is rejected by the RTA, then details of the

same can be viewed by using this option. Select the option “Rejected by RTA” and enter the date and

Demat A/C number for which the request for demat was raised.
