MOOG ® Premium Belleville Washer Design Shortened Service Life/ Loose Steering Manufacturing tolerance variations may result in excessive clearances in the stud and housing, even when new. This excessive clearance results in less-precise handling, safety concerns and shorter assembly life. Without a bearing preload provision, larger clearances and increased axial movement can occur at lower mileages. EXCESSIVE CLEARANCE SHORTENS ASSEMBLY LIFE AND RAISES SAFETY CONCERNS.
