Probably the best-made Pokemon game yet

Until the last boss fight of the main story, everything is a cakewalk.

Rating- ****^ (four-and-a-half stars) Berries also don't grow in the Unova region, so my Snivy

will have to grow them for me in the Dream World. At the time of this writing (March 29), the

Dream World is not currently active here in the States. It was set to be launched on the 30th,

but, due to the recent catastrophes in Japan, the worldwide release of the Global Link has

been postponed (my best wishes to all of those in Japan coping with all of their worries)..

There has, however, been an injection of a unique plot, revolving around ideals ("liberation of

Pokemon") versus truth ("experiences with Pokemon").Overall, it's fun for all ages, and a

great way to introduce yourself, your children, or friends to the Pokemon franchise. Playing it

gives me the feeling of playing Pokemon Red on the original gameboy- it has the same

newness about it. I haven't played Pokemon since I was a sixth grader, when Red and Blue

just came out in the states. So, I've been gone awhile. The new generation of Pokemon is a

great place to return to the series.

You meet and collect Pokemon throughout the game and level them up to gain new abilities

and strengths.

This new series may have graphics very close to the level of previous series, but I think that's

the nature of the series: unlike Final Fantasy where some releases can get a facelift,

Pokemon is designed to be colorful, cartoon-like, and graphically simple. My daughter loves

the new and interesting sounds that Pokemon Black makes (particularly the opening screen),

and I have to admit that is one thing that continues to get a little better with each title. She

often loves playing the creature sounds over and over and showing me what Pokemon she's

captured, and we've had more than one occasion where she excitedly comes rushing up to

me so I can watch this or that creature evolve and we can share the surprise of "what will it

look like?"Pokemon Black is, in my opinion, the best Pokemon game made so far. You have

3 rivals and you can find all sorts of different Pokemon. It is easier to catch the main

Pokemon, Reshiram, in this game than in past games. You do not need the masterball9best

ball would be a (Quickball)The story is better than most of the stories in the other games.

Also, your rival will get catch Zekrom, where in other games the other legendary is not even

mentioned.Pokemon games have a habit of cutting connections with the past every few

gens. The first example was third gen, with Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. They completely

severed connectivity with the previous games, removed most of the old Pokemon from the

main game, and removed some other features such as day/night and having a second

region.

The Icirrus City Gym (Ice-types) and its Leader, Brycen, are an absolute joke and are WAY

too easy.

boy in the accumula town pokecenter.
