It’s important to install your graphic the right way the first time. Repositioning your graphic can negatively affect the adhesive resulting in poor adhesion upon your second attempt. Here are a few tips and tricks for a successful installation of your new carpet graphic. Masking Tape Measuring Tape Tools Needed: Directions: Squeegee or Your Hand Scissors or Razor Knife Paper Towel 1 First, make sure you’re installing your graphic out of direct sunlight and in temperatures between 60º-75ºF. Not following this can allow the graphic to stretch or distort. 2 Surface must be dry and clean - Vacuum to remove the dirt and use the paper towel test for dryness. Walk on the paper towel and if there is any dampness wait for it to dry and try again. 3 Measure the graphic for desired placement and place masking tape on the Left & Right sides. Double check your measurements and adjust if necessary. Next, lay down the hinge. If you’re using 1” wide masking tape, double it up so it makes a stronger 2” wide path. PRO TIP Don’t use the blue painters tape as it will not stick very well to the carpet. Make sure to use traditional masking tape for best results. Remove the hinge and repeat for the other side. Fold the graphic over and peel the liner o�from the inside out (where the hinge was).

If you follow these steps, you’re carpet graphic should successfully be adhered!

Cut the �rst side of the tape with your razor knifeor scissors.

Fold half of the graphic back and peel the liner back.

PRO TIP Spend time pushing down and walking on all the edges of the decal. Graphic failures occur when the edges are not properly adhered.

PRO TIP Keeping the graphic face down,peel the liner o� the graphic.

After you peel the liner down (leaving the graphic folded over), Cut away the liner with your scissors and remove.

Swing the decal back into place lining upthe tape so you know it’s where you want it.Pat it down, don’t rub it.

Remove the masking tape and walk on the graphic. Apply pressure on the edges to fully seal it down.
