1. What is a “Success Blueprint”?

Deb’s Recruiting Blueprint is a proven, systematic, training method: a complete plan outline with accompanying tools and tracking document, so you can consistently:

Develop and train strong, self-confident, independent leaders under you

Reduce the cost of training recruits by instilling a “mindset of success”

Measure their progress against realistic development targets Objectively determine when to keep a consultant; conversely, to

determine when it is time to let a consultant go

2. The Success Training Platform

It is a private, web-based platform, located at

icaninstitute.com, containing:

a. A compilation of the best of Deb’s time-tested and proven

short “jump start” programs, together with their

accompanying tools and documents.

b. New audio recordings specifically designed to help recruits

to understand their new business adventure and how to

build a lasting relationship with you.

2 Copyright 2015, 2016 ICAN Institute

It was designed to:

a. Create a value proposition for you to discuss with new team members that clearly

demonstrates your commitment to help them not only build their business, but to succeed.

b. Encourage team members to quickly identify and move past a few of the most obvious

and common “action” ruts - and build a foundation of good working and business habits

c. Provide common ground and dialogue points upon which both the Team Leader

(YOU!) and Team Member can establish open, honest and meaningful communications

d. Create an opportunity for your team members to quickly develop the fundamental

skill sets for mindset, emotion and action management

e. Foster the coach/teacher/mentor relationship between you and your team members

f. Save you time and money by providing a consistent way for you to measure progress

and results

All of the same resources available to your team members are found on your ICAN Recruit

Resource Page in a section below your call recordings, documents, etc. Please take time to

review – and enjoy them.

3. Who Should Use this Platform?

While we often talk about new recruits, the platform was designed for use by any team

member who needs to “jump start” their existing career.

4. How to Use Your New Platform

As part of your ICAN Recruit Pro Level Program, you received 10 accounts for your team

members to login and access. Your team members will register for their own personal

account, which will use up your remaining “account accesses”. These represent access to the

Goal Training Resource Platform, or, in other words, 10 of your team members have access

and may to log into the Goal Training Resource Platform for 90 days each.

Your team member also has her own version of a “blueprint” instruction guide, called the

Quickstart Guide. It is located in their platform and they can download and print it once they

login. We have also attached a copy at the end of this document for you to review as well.

Your 10 account accesses do not expire; use them at any time. Please note that each team member who signs up for the Goal Training Resource Platform will use up one of your 10 available account logins, regardless of whether or not they log-in, access, or ultimately use the resources.

Send the registration link out to your Recruits: http://www.icaninstitute.com/register-recruit-resources/ We recommend that you make this email very personable. Explain to her why you want her to use the platform and that all the resources she will be getting are at no cost to her.

Need more? Blueprint Reload Packages are available for $169 per 10-pack. Re-order from your Resource Page

After they register, we will send an email to them with their access information (username & password) They are able to then login and get started immediately! The email will provide them with instructions on how to locate their training platform on icaninstitute.com.

Please keep track of who you allow to sign up – and when using the logs provided in this blueprint guide. Once you have reached your limit, additional team members will be denied access.

Once your new team member logs-in to the Platform, the 90-day countdown begins! This guide and the attached tracking sheets are designed for you to work with your team member over these 90 days.

Your tracking, monitoring and check-ins start as soon as they register!

Watch as your new team members become successful businesswomen. And remember, this guide is designed to help you communicate and form a lasting relationship with your team. You will see the greatest success if you engage with them and use the blueprint guide to its fullest.

An additional goal of this blueprint is to help you recognize when a team member is going to be successful. Be sure to place your energy into the winners!

If you have any questions, please contact Customer Care, at (505) 898-4400,

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (MST)

Your New Team-Members’ Steps to Access:

The link you send will take your Recruit to the following form to complete:

After submitting the form, they will receive an email from us with log-in information for the ICAN Institute website. Depending on their email service, this may take some time. Sometimes, the emails we send out to your new team members will end up in their email provider’s spam folder. If they cannot locate it, please have them contact Customer Care at (505) 898-4400 (M-F; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm MST).

6. Recommended Training Sequence

To ensure that you can carefully and effectively evaluate and measure the progress of

each team member, it is helpful to ensure that you follow the same training sequence, as

well as monitor timing and completion.

The following is a recommended sequence as well as suggested timeframe and check-in

spacing. Your schedule and priorities – as well as those of your team member - may vary.

It includes a weekly check-in.

2. Listen: “Power and Pitfalls of Being Your Own Boss”

Ask questions about expectations going forward:

o What are your goals and dreams?

o What do you want from this business and why?

o How can I help you with any identified “pitfalls”?

o What do you need from me?

WEEK 2 (Days 8-14)

piece.

Coach, Teacher, and Mentor) to Guarantee Success.”

long-term relationship.

for them.

7. Tracking New Recruits

We have provided a sample an Individual Recruit Tracking Log and Team Member Master Tracking

Log templates at the end of this guide. Guidance for use is provided below.

We recommend that you print the Tracking Log templates and start a notebook to help

manage the documentation.

Page 9: Pro Level Blueprint Guide - ICAN Institute Inc. · and use the blueprint guide to its fullest. An additional goal of this blueprint is to help you recognize when a team is going to

The keys to the success of your Recruiter Blueprint are to

o Ensure that you manage and drive the education process while holding your Team

member accountable to the agreed-upon plan

o Keep open communications and support available throughout the process

o Complete team member check-ins, with notes, in a consistent and timely fashion

o Objectively evaluate your team members based on performance – not merely

participation.

Remember to reward determination and success – when it is matched by results. While

“life happens in the middle of a business”, continual “slippage” in the schedule may signal

unresolved issues and serve as a warning flag to you about your team member’s

commitment.
