Guidance Corner In an effort to provide comprehensive support, class presentations have been scheduled between end of March and Easter break. Anxiety presentations are being given to the Grade 6 classes and career presentations are being provided to the Grade 7 clas- ses. Small group counselling sessions have begun for students with two foci: self-discovery and transitioning to high school. Individual counselling sessions will remain in place for those students who re- quire one-to-one support. May 17, 2017 will be the date for our Career Fair to be held at Pine Ridge Middle School between 9:15 - 12:15. Pine Ridge Parents - Pine Ridge is looking for parents with

their criminal records checks and their child abuse registry forms who are willing to chaper-one school dances. Our next school dance is ten-tatively scheduled for April 20. If you are available to volunteer to cover a shift (approx. 1.5 hrs 6:45 - 8:15 or 8:15 - 9:30 ) please contact the school at 765-7570 or email [email protected] (Ms. Mac) or [email protected] (Mrs. Button).
