The consumer requests for a service. The request first passes through the Datapower layer and then to the WMB layer. The DP layer is used to achieve SSL, Logging, Transformation and Routing. In WMB, there is one interface for around 20 services. WMB is used to call the backend and get the response and route it accordingly. .
