Zaca Mesa Winery and Vineyards offers serene and rustic elegance for your special

event. Whether you are looking for a wedding, a corporate event, birthday or any other

special occasion, we have a space for you. We can accommodate up to 200 people in

our Grenache Blanc Vineyard or our intimate courtyard. The Grenache Blanc Vineyard

surrounds you with gorgeous vines, picturesque views of the San Rafael Mountain

Range and space under our century-old oak tree. The courtyard offers a private space

for guests to drink, dine, and dance.

Deposits

25% non-refundable deposit, included in the above fee, is required to reserve the event date and time. The reservation is not confirmed until the payment is received.

An additional $1,000 Refundable Security Deposit is required for the venue site. It is not included in the event rental fee, but will be returned within 20 days after the event, provided there are no property damages.

Deposits are due at least 30 days before the event

Site Information

Zaca Mesa Event Site-Manager

Our event Site-Manager will oversee your event’s safety, cleanliness, wine deliveries, Zaca Mesa wine bar setup, and act as your coordinator’s resource. The Event Site-manager is not responsible for coordination, setup, breakdown, or coordinating with outside vendors.

Wedding Planner/Coordinator

Client must provide a Contracted Professional Wedding or Event Coordinator for their wedding ceremony and/or reception. The hired professional is required to submit 2-3 venue references for our approval. The hired professional is required to be present on the date of the ceremony/reception and facilitate and direct event details to our On-site Manager. The hired coordinator may not be a guest at the event.

Music

Amplified or acoustic music must conclude by 10pm. Client will need to arrange the band and/or DJs.

Personal Items

Personal items left behind at Zaca Mesa Winery will be discarded 15 days after the event.

Parking

Zaca Mesa recommends all event clients arrange transportation services for the safety of their guests. All parking at Zaca Mesa Winery is included at no additional cost.

Additional Site Information

General Limited Liability Insurance

All vendors are required to provide a $1,000,000 limited liability certificate of insurance policy naming Cushman Winery Corporation DBA-Zaca Mesa Winery & Vineyards

Your Contracted Caterer will need to provide a $2,000,000 limited liability certificate of insurance policy naming Zaca Mesa Winery & Vineyards as additionally insured at no cost

Client must name Cushman Winery Corporation DBA-Zaca Mesa Winery & Vineyards as additionally insured on their homeowners policy or by other 1-day policy means for the day of the event

Rentals

All event rentals needed, including tables chairs, linens, place settings, flatware and glassware needs to be arranged by the client. All rental deliveries must occur on the day of the event no more than 3 hours before the event and rental pick-ups must be done within 10 hours after the contracted end time.

Decorations

Non-organic decorations are not allowed, which

includes sparklers, confetti, glitter, rice, and birdseed .

The client may not use nails or screws to adhere

decorations to the winery windows or walls.

Fireworks are not permitted on the venue.

Weather

It is recommended to have a weather contingency plan

in the case of inclement weather.

Alcohol

The client may only serve Zaca Mesa Wines during the event. Zaca Mesa Winery & Vineyard site is licensed to only serve wines that are produced here at Zaca Mesa. Spirits are not allowed on the premises and under no circumstances will wine be served to anyone under the age of 21. Event wines must be selected and purchased no later than 3 weeks prior to the event. However, arrangements for beer can be made through your catering company.

Additional Site Information Continued

Last Call

Last Call will take place 45 minutes before the event’s contracted end time and drink service will conclude 30 minutes before end time.

Setup, Breakdown & Clean-up

The times allotted for events are 3 hours for setup(2:00pm-5:00pm) and 2 hours for clean-up(10:00pm-12:00am), included at no additional charge.

Client and their vendors are fully responsible for setup & clean-up before and after the event. Charges will be applied to the $1,000 security deposit in the event the client does not leave the facility in the condition they found it.

Rehearsal

The Wedding rehearsal must be scheduled through Zaca Mesa Event Manager through the Wedding Coordinator at least 3 weeks before desired date. A 1 hour rehearsal is included in your site fee. Wedding coordinator must be present for the Rehearsal.
