    Add To Library Icon

The Add to Library Icon is only visible when the Library is selected from the Resource Window. Adding audio files from your computer to the JamManager XT Library makes the files available for use with a JamMan device. Click the Add To Library Icon to add audio files on your computer to the Library. NOTE: JamManager XT supports files containing the following file attributes:

    • Channels: Stereo • Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz - 96 kHz • Bit Depth: 16-bit - 24-bit • File Format: wav, .ogg, .aif, or .aiff

When adding files that have the same file name as a file name already in the Library, a note will be added to the description stating where the file was added from. This helps prevent accidental overwriting or deletion of files you may want to keep. When adding files from other locations on your computer, JamManager XT simply creates a link to the file. When files are synchronized with a JamMan device, these

linked audio files are then transferred onto the JamMan device as a 44.1 kHz/16- bit/.wav file. Any file added to the Library that is not already a 44.1 kHz/16-bit/.wav file will be converted before being transferred to the JamMan device as a 44.1 kHz/16- bit/.wav file. When dealing with file types other than .wav, .ogg, .aif, or .aiff (such as .WMA, .MP3, etc.), the files must be converted using a third party utility before they can be added to the JamManager XT Library.
