Liam Oven

This is an unedited audio sequence which is a combination of sounds to tell a story. The Audio sequence is aligned perfectly and is to show the change in tempo and environment. The audio is to make the listener imagine and robber breaking into an expected empty home but he doesn’t realise there is someone home, startled he fires his weapon. He then continues on with the robbery with calm music.

This is a bunch of audio played together to create an environment. I edited it with the envelope pan to make the sequence seem more loud and quiet at points giving the effect of nature which makes the sequence sound more natural and makes the loud effects stand out much more. The actually point of the sequence is to make the listener imagine a pond or a lake scenario which has a whole lot of wild life living in it making a lot of annoying noise but then some kids set of fireworks and instantly the noise is gone.

These audio clips look different but they are the same clip just edited by changing the pitch and playback rate of the clip which has let me achieve different sounds from using just one. The original sound clip was just a click of a gun and shot which was very quick and boring but after I edited it I had multiple versions of the clip in slow, fast, loud, quiet and this let me pick which ever one I like best.

This is a heavily edited sound also known as a song which I changed using FX from plugins to be specific I used VST plugins which gave me permission to use all sorts of different types of things to edit my sound. I mainly used the Ambience sound mixer which you can see above and this let me change things like the frequency and the dry/wet ness of the sound which made some drastic changes which I liked and made my clip sound original and new. The plugins do make some immediate changes which put me of at first but when you make some minor changes you get the hang of the effects they make.
