There is no method for this.

a summarization, it shows you have acknowledged what they are saying and understand what they have summarized to you.

I don’t know what summarizing is.

Summarizing is an effective form of communication that is widely used by many people.

If the sender gives a summary to the receiver, then that person is required to respond.

If you paraphrase something a sender says, what will that instigate to them?

That you are clarifying what they are saying. By putting it in other words, it shows you understand what they are saying and that you are listening.

Paraphrasing is a way of confusing someone when conversing.
