Graphic Design
Graphic Design students learn to apply the elements and principles of art and design. Computers are
used as a tool for creating work. Projects will be primarily created digitally; with limited works created

will become proficient in industry based software while learning how to be productive, solve problems,

Animation
This course is designed to give students exposure to a wide range animation techniques. Students will
explore the history and evolution of early animation. Emphasis will be on the processes involved in
creation of animation stressing teamwork, story-boarding, character development, and concept design.
Students will learn, applications in Adobe Animate CC, Adobe Bridge and also applications available
through Autodesk such as Maya, 3DS Max, Arnold and Mudbox.

Instructional Practices is a field-based (practicum) internship that provides students with background
knowledge of child and adolescent development as well as principles of effective teaching and training
practices. Students work under the joint direction and supervision of both a teacher with knowledge of
early childhood, middle childhood, and adolescence education and exemplary educators or trainers in
direct instructional roles with elementary, middle school, and high school-aged students. Students learn

The course is comprised of classroom instruction, lab applications and independent study. No clinical

This is an occupational specific course designed to provide knowledge and skills for certification as an
Emergency Medical Technician. Instruction will be provided related to patient assessment, spinal

breathing. The EMT program requires additional ambulance and emergency room experiences outside
