ESL EndorsementESL Endorsement

• At our schools (elementary) it is an expectation that teachers will work on their ESL endorsement.

• At the middle and high schools, subject area teachers are also encouraged by principals.

• Two ESL TExES reviews per year – one on each side of the district.

• District office pays for workbooks, test and certification (once complete). Title III money is used for this.
