Principal’s Pen
• Thank you to all parents and guardians for your
continued efforts in your children’s distance
learning. As we all continue to follow the specific
guidelines and parameters put in place by the
Saskatchewan Government, we recognize the many
challenges you have faced in supporting your children and their education. With one full month of
school remaining, we continue to encourage all students to participate in as many of the activities and
lessons as possible. If there are any concerns or questions please email your child’s teacher
immediately for clarity. Thank you for all of your support as we work together to ensure all students
continue to grow academically during these unprecedented times. Keeping up with reading, writing and
math daily will ensure a smoother transition back to school next year. Kudos to you all for your
dedication to learning, congratulations students who are working as hard as they can in their Google
Classrooms.
• Kudos to our amazing Catholic School Community Council for their continued efforts. Congratulations
on meeting your fundraising goals for this year. Please read the CSCC section below for further
updates and for information on how to order a 2019-2020 school yearbook. Please note the
only way to order a yearbook is online as indicated in the CSCC section of this
newsletter. Thank you to Leanne Duncan (parent) for her efforts with the yearbook, this
tradition is appreciated by our school community.
• A number of families have not completed the pre-registration survey. If you have not, please

As always, if you have a specific concern (such as parents of twins wishing their children to
remain together in the same classroom) please email Mrs. McLean at [email protected] with
your specific request by June 15th. No promises are made regarding requests except that all
will be reviewed and considered.
• School Supplies-The school will be purchasing day planners for all students as having consistency in
this area is important so that all students are organized and are as successful as possible. This was a
recent decision and the planners will be one less item for families to purchase. We will again be
offering Schools Start online school supply orders. Supply lists will be available for online ordering next
week. This is optional but might be a preferred option instead of school supply shopping in stores as
the supplies get delivered directly to your door.
Kindergarten Registration - Kindergarten Registrations are still being accepted. Please register as
soon as possible if you haven’t already done so. Class groupings are being decided and information
