The world of fashion welcomes designer Prince Peter and famed photographer Mick Rock who have joined forces in a collaborative effort to create a line of unisex t-shirts that incorporate the art of photog- raphy and graphic design. The inspiration for the t-shirt line comes from Rocks' iconic music and fashion images. The fashion line debuted in downtown New York City on September 9th, 2009. The brainchild of Prince Peter, the over-arching vision season-to-season is to collaborate with well- known artists and photographers, and to exhibit the famed artwork and images in t-shirt and wearable apparel form. In this way the apparel becomes wearable art, and a true collectors item. Prince Peter Collection is meant to be worn by both men and women, young and old, with an emphasis this season on edgy Rock N' Roll, awe-inspiring photographic images that Mick Rock is known for capturing in his many years of service. Together Prince Peter and Rock have taken 10 images from Rock N’ Roll history and decadence to create the Spring 2010 collection, with particular pieces inspired by music greats David Bowie and Syd Barrett. Prince Peter Collection only in its infancy already has a huge celebrity following which held true for the launch event on September 9th, 2009. Celebrities in attendance at the show included: Glasvegas, Poppy Delevigne, Zac Malone, Isabelle McNalley, Tallulah Harlech, Mick Rock, Simon Hammerstein (owner, The Box), Jude Law (actor), Kane Manera (actor), Todd Diciurcio, Bob Gruen, Christian Joy (fashion designer), Brady Corbet (actor), Sophia Lamar, Olga Nemcova, Adam Green, The Paddingtons, Derek Kettela (photographer), Nathan Boggle (J-Crew model), Catherine Pierce (band), Johny Mischeif, Fran- cesco Civetta, Michael James (owner, The Gates), Brandy Brechbiel (model), and Stephan Dorf (actor) among others. Prince Peter and Mick Rock: Artist Background

Mick RockOften referred to as the “The Man Who Shot the Seventies,” legendary Rock N’ Roll photographer Mick Rock first met David Bowie in early 1972. Rock was instrumental in creating many other key Rock N’ Roll images, such as album covers for Iggy Pop and the Stooges’ Raw Power, Queen’s Queen II (recreated for their classic music video ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’) and the Ramones End of the Century, among many others. He was the chief photographer on the films, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hedwig and the Angry Itch, and Shortbus. He also produced and directed the seminal music videos for David Bowie to be found on Bowie’s Sound and Vision DVD collection including ‘John, I’m Only Dancing’ and ‘Space Oddity.’

Prince PeterOver a three year career as a casting director for the brands Complex Magazine and Marc Ecko Enterprise, Prince Peter has gone beyond every limit to preach his unique rock style. As a DJ at some of New York’s hottest venues, including the infamous Beatrice Inn, and private parties for big name artists such as The Rolling Stones, he has quickly established himself as a staple on the New York Nightlife circuit. Prince Peter decided to test his kingship in the fashion arena by launching a collection of t-shirts inspired by Mick Rock.
