Product Range The Merriott Primo range comprises of single and double panel radiators available in heights from 300mm - 700mm and lengths from 400mm - 2400mm. The Primo Plus comes with factory fitted side panels and a top grille.
Outputs The outputs quoted in this brochure are based on a Delta T of 50˚C.
All Merriott Primo radiators have been manufactured and tested in accordance with EN 442.
FinishEvery Merriott Primo radiator undergoesan intensive pre-treatment process toprotect against rust. In pre-treatment, theradiators are degreased, coated with ironphosphate and rinsed prior to painting. Acathodic electrodeposition primer coating isthen applied to give total coverage of the baresteel and maximum corrosion protection. Thedurable topcoat (epoxy polyester powder) iselectrostatically applied and stove enamel bakedat 180˚C. The process is monitored to ensurecontinuous achievement of optimum adhesion,opacity and gloss levels.
PackagingAll Merriott radiators are packed in robust packaging specially designed to ensure that the product reaches you in perfect condition.
Testing All Primo radiators are tested to 10.5 Bar with a maximum working pressure of 8 Bar.
Brackets As standard, Merriott supply Primo radiators with strip brackets (as depicted on page 6).
Bracket Lugs Two pairs of lugs are fitted on radiators up to and including 1600mm long. A third pair of lugsis fitted centrally on radiators that are 1800mm long and over.
ConnectionsStandard connections are 4 x 1/2” BSP (15mm) ABCD. All tapping-to-tapping dimensions can be obtained by subtracting 5mm from the nominal radiator length (accuracy =+/- 2mm).
WarrantyMerriott radiators are guaranteed for a period of 10 years from date of purchase in respect of defective materials and workmanship. The system should be designed in accordance with British Standard Code of Practice for Water Based Heating Systems in Buildings BS EN 12828:2012+A1:2014 and BS EN 12831: 2003. The installation and commissioning of the system should comply with BS EN 14336:2004. On completion of the installation, the system should be properly flushed and filled in accordance with the British Code of Practice for the Treatment of Water in Domestic Hot Water Central Heating Systems BS 7593:2006, Part L of Building Regulations and Good Practice Guidance for Scotland. Merriott strongly recommends the use of corrosion inhibitor for all applications. Failure to observe these standards may invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
