Registrations are due by Friday, April 14. Taste Italy at the Italian Village with a salad, the choice of Chicken Marsala or Lasagna and Italian Lemon Ice. Step back in time to the days of Al Capone and the gang. Take a peek into the lives of the Untouchables with one of Chicago’s Gangster step-on guides. We will tour through the Prohibition Era (1920’s and ‘30’s) of Chicago. See the hot spots, hit spots and hideouts made famous by Al Capone, his allies and enemies. Hear accurate accounts of the exploits of Capone, Moran, Dillin- ger and the rest of the boys. Some of the sites included in the tour are the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, Holy Name Cathedral, and a brewery that was used illegally during prohibition. (Guests will remain on the bus for the duration of the tour.) Meet Isaac Ellwood and the

barbed wire industry in DeKalb.

Enjoy a guided historic tour

through the basement and three

floors of the 1879 Ellwood Man-

sion and the 1st floor levels of the

Ellwood Nehring House. Take in

the four exhibit galleries in the

visitor center and gardens.

Stop by the Hillside Restaurant for

your choice of a fried cod

sandwich, Viva Poulet (sandwich

with grilled chicken with bacon,

cheddar and a side of BBQ sauce)

or a classic French Dip with your

choice of fries or soup. End the

day with a one hour walking tour

of the Egyptian Theatre building.

Corral, visit the John C Flanagan

House Museum, built in 1837, it is

the oldest stand-

ing house in

Peoria.

Collections of antique glass, china,

furniture, toys, quilts, tools and

vintage clothes. Before heading

home, enjoy Grandview Drive, the

"World's Most Beautiful Drive”,

and enjoy more than thirty miles of

the scenic Illinois River valley.
