The Government allocates money to schools to help children from lower income families do their very best. This funding is called the Pupil Premium Grant.

For every child registered, St Margaret’s C of E Junior School gets an extra £1320 a year.Over the last couple of years we have used this money to employ specialist tutors, provide counselling support and fund other activities and resources – all with the intention of ensuring your children have the opportunity to reach their full potential while they are with us.

Please note, all children in KS1 are currently entitled to a free school meal. This does not continue into KS2.

Please register before the end of the school year to ensure that your child does not miss out as they become a Junior pupil (PTO to check to see if you are eligible).

It is so much more than just a free school lunch.

If you need any confidential advice or have any questions, please speak to the school office or ask to make an appointment to see our Family Liaison Officer, Miss Lacy.

No one will know you have registered and it will not affect any other benefits you are claiming.

Please talk to us about registering your child today.

Yours sincerely

Mrs J Smith
