Apparently, expertshave reported that different coloured fruits containunique nutrients essential to one’s health and wellness[Why]. Thus, I strive to get the health benefits throughmy choice of fruits. I will munch on an apple daily duringmy teatime [When] because of its crunch factor! And likewhat Mummy says, “An apple a day keeps the doctoraway”. This is perhaps why I am fit like a fiddle.”

To have healthy teeth and gums, we should avoid food that aretoo sweet. This means we should avoid the donuts and sweetdrinks.
During Health Education lessons, my teacher taught us that eatingtoo much sweet stuff can cause our teeth to decay. This meansthat our teeth will spoil, and we will have to extract it!
“In fact, I am fortunately not a fan of donuts. Firstly, I find themtoo sweet and secondly, they are deep fried. Once, I was standingoutside JCO Donuts. I saw the baker mixing the ingredients forthe donut icing; I was shocked by the amount of sugar added intothe mixture! I was also turned off by the amount of oil that wasused to fry a donut! As for sweet drinks, I am aware that theycontain high amount of sugar and can corrode our teeth. Once, Iread on an online article that Coke can be used to remove rustfrom jewelries. I dread imagining the horrible effects one willeventually experience on their teeth and gums from theconsumption of these sweet drinks.

To stay healthy, we will need to exercise regularly and haveenough sleep.
Exercising helps to build up our muscles and improve our immunesystem. This will make us fit and strong! Having enough sleep willmake sure that we have enough energy for the activities we do.
In fact, this is why mummy makes it compulsory for me to be inbed by 10 pm every night, even on the weekends. She wants toensure that I am well- rested, and can concentrate in class. There was once where I stayed pass my my bed time to completean assignment which I had forgotten about till the last minute. The next day, not only did I wake up feeling grouchy, I was alsounable to understand the content taught in school that day. Tomake matter worst, I actually dozed off twice duringMathematics lesson. This made my teacher angry, who then madea call to Mummy. And as expected, Mummy punished me when Ireturned home that day. Looking back, staying pass my bed timethen was definitely a bad decision!

Dear Sir/Madam,
Complaint on Broken CD (Title to highlight main content of letter)
My name is Henry Lee, a customer of Kico CD Shop. I am writing this letter to complain about one of your
salesgirls, Jane Tan. (Self-introduction and purpose of letter)
On 1 October 2007 at 11 am, I bought a CD, ‘Top 10 Children’s Songs’ from Kico CD Shop and immediately
went home. When I opened up the CD cover, I found that the CD in the box was broken. I went back to the
shop on the same day, 1 October 2007 at 5pm and showed the original receipt and the CD to the salesgirl on
duty, Jane Tan, to ask for an exchange. To my surprise, she refused to give me a new one and to make
matters worse, she accused me of breaking the CD myself. I felt very angry and disappointed as it is clearly
stated on the receipt that goods can be exchanged within three days of purchase with original receipt. (Details
of letter; Points 1 to 6 in the task)
I would appreciate it if you could look into the matter and allow me an exchange for the broken CD that I have
purchased from your shop. Thank you for your kind attention and looking forward to a favourable reply from
you. (Spell out the action you want from the reader and thank the reader for reading the letter)
