The Pride of Dakota Social will be held at the Double- wood Inn following the POD Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, March 29. This is a great time to socialize with your fellow Pride of Dakota members as well as legislators from around the state. In addition, the Pride of Dakota Annual Meeting takes place Wednesday March 30. There is an exciting and exceptionally knowledgeable group of speakers at this year’s annual meeting. Their sessions will provide many opportunities for you and your business to grow. In the breakouts you will have the opportunity to hear about financial opportunities, learn how to further develop your business, and a panel of experts will also give creative marketing ideas. During breakouts there will also be an option to record videos and radio interviews for the URL radio show. As a group, Pride of Dakota members will hear from the President of the Me- dora Foundation, Randy Hatzenbuhler, get expert advice for social networking from Scott Wild, and more! Wholesale Show Just a reminder that the Pride of Dakota Wholesale Show takes place on April 20, 2011!

The Wholesale Show will take place at the Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck. This is a great opportunity for compa-nies looking to place their products into new stores and for those considering the wholesale market.

This show will target wholesale buyers from gift, food and other retail shops as well as tourist attractions in the state. We will send invitations to over 500 buyers throughout North Dakota.

The show will run from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. In addition, from 5- 7 p.m. there will be a business social. We will be inviting business leaders, corporate buyers, restaurant owners, chefs and more to attend and view your prod-ucts and provide you the opportunity to network with them. The cost to participate in this event is $50.

A new pot of coffee is brewing, five miles south of Westhope, and it’s not your average cup of “Jo.” Mojo Roast is a one-of-a-kind coffee shop, offering coffee lovers a new experience: personal coffee roast-ing. Each order is roasted to the customer’s personal specifications at the time it is placed. Once a customer is grounded in their favorite flavors, a roasting log is created and filed for future reference.

Owner Jo Kahlifa believes life is too short for bad coffee. A great day starts with a great cup of coffee; a great coffee starts with a great bean. Mojo Roast offers specialty grade Arabica coffees, which make up only five percent of the world’s coffee market. In addition

Gifts from the Heart started in 2006 when a group of friends decided to set up a holiday shop in a local cof-fee shop. They gathered just enough local products to sell over the holiday season. The holiday shop was a success, and Gifts from the Heart was formed one year later.
