Concrete Pavers

A carefully planned maintenance program is the best method to keep Boral pavers looking good for years to come. The cleaning and maintenance information should be viewed as recommendations only.

Simple steps should include:

• Regular sweeping to keep the pavers free from debris;

• During construction, cover the paved areas to protect against damage;

• Protecting against possible staining from mortar, oxides, cement and rust;

• Do not use acid to clean the pavers;

• Do not use a high pressure cleaning apparatus.

Prior to removing stains, we suggest that the type of stain be carefully assessed before action proceeds. Incorrect assessment can lead to the stain being more difficult to remove. If the stain cannot be accurately assessed, then we would recommend that a trial process on a small portion of the stained area be undertaken to determine the most appropriate action.

Efflorescence

Do not hose this salt deposit with water. Brush first with a stiff bristled broom, or sprinkle slightly damp sand over the area, then brush away and hose gently with clean water.Please refer to Boral’s “Caring for Concrete Pavers” guide available for download at www.boral.com.au/pavers.

The below guidelines will assist Boral Masonry to deliver your requirements in time, in good condition and to your selected destination.

Submitting Orders

Emailed order submission will ensure your orders are supplied with the highest possible accuracy.

Metro Deliveries

Within metro Adelaide, a minimum delivery fee of $130 incl. GST applies to paver and block orders of 2 pallets or less. For orders over 2 pallets, an additional $15 incl. GST per pallet applies. POA for areas outside Adelaide.

Return Surcharge

A handling charge of 25% plus any freight or other cost incurred will be charged by Boral on product accepted by Boral as a return for credit (product must be resalable).

Special Packaging, Transport or Delivery Requirements

To meet individual project requirements, transport, delivery or site requirements must be advised at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any added charges.

Postponed Orders

Orders postponed for periods greater than 1 week after the due delivery pickup date will be returned to stock and a restocking fee of 25%. Cancelled made-up orders incur a $100 fee.

Same Day Deliveries

Every effort will be made to utilise Boral contracted vehicles where possible, but there are various alternatives if this is not possible. Couriers (POA) are available and will require assistance to unload at the delivery site. Please note that Boral will not be held responsible for product damage during or after delivery by third parties to unmanned sites. Such claims should be directed to the third party.

LossBoral will not accept responsibility for any loss to items left on site.

Site Access

You are required to ensure safe and adequate access to your site for delivery and all other aspects of site safety. Where premises are locked or clear access is not available, goods will be unloaded on site at the most convenient position or returned to Boral. At all times, Boral will not be liable for any damage to any public or private property or any injury to any person i) in connection with your failure to provide clear or safe access to site or ii) where such damage arises from Boral complying with your directions as to where and how goods should be unloaded on site. Returns will incur a return cartage and restock fee. Should a site shift be requested, (shifting product on site or between sites) an additional charge will be incurred.

Site Preparation

It is your responsibility to ensure that your delivery site is clean and clear safe access has been provided with all scaffolds, plants, walkways and other devices or structures meeting applicable legislative and regulatory requirements. Boral will not be liable for any damage to any public or private property or any injury to any person in connection with your failure to comply with this requirement. This includes services such as water, irrigation, storm water, electricity and sewage systems and these need to be clearly flagged to Boral and its personnel. Delays on site will lead to additional delivery charges.

delivery & service

Boral recommends that the customer inspects the product immediately after delivery, and notifies Boral of any defective goods before they are installed, as Boral may not be obliged to meet costs associated with removing and replacing product once it is installed. All pricing displayed includes GST.

Application Legend for Loading Recommendations

Suitable for heavy commercial vehicle use.

Suitable for light commercial vehicle use. Max 10 tonne mass weight.

Suitable for general domestic use – pedestrians.

Suitable for domestic driveways and light traffic access.

Pools (salt resistant) Sealing Recommended.

Traffic recommendations are based on CMAA guidelines.
