Specialite® Insulation from Specialist Insulation Supplies Ltd

Specialite® insulation is a unique all-in-one insulation, jacketing and weatherproofing system suitable for both internal and external use, enabling a one-step application to pipework and ducting and providing reliable and durable long term thermal performance over the lifetime of the building – performance that cannot be matched by any other comparable product.

Specialite® insulation has excellent thermal insulation properties as it is made from PIR or phenolic foam insulation boards - Class 0 and Class 1 materials. It reduces installation times, labour costs, labour risks and installation logistics as the contractor will be installing both the insulation and weatherproofing in a single application.

Factory applied VentureClad provides an excellent finish every time, one that a contractor cannot always provide on-site especially during changeable weather and down time is therefore substantially reduced. Sizes range from 34mm id to 800mm id in a single section and can go up to any size.

The closed cell structure of the insulation board prevents water ingress even if the VentureClad is damaged. This prevents water from travelling inside the insulation and causing the bottoms to fall off. It has zero permeability creating an absolute vapour barrier, no air gaps, reduced thickness with a tight double layer nesting capability, thereby eradicating pipework corrosion and other deterioration.
