Home

The general goal of the website, starting from the homepage, is to motivate the user

to click on the products and afterwards to buy them. In that way, the site will have

earnings from the shops which pay per click or per sale. To achieve this goal, the

homepage should guide the user in the most easy and fast way for the best deal.

Comparing a Product and Redirecting to the Shop

When the user finds the product his interested in, he is able to see the list of the

prices from the shops. There are two categories of users: the one that knows the

product details and the one that is looking for more details. This page includes all the

necessary info about the product and the shops and the mail attention is given to the

price comparison. By clicking on one of the prices, the user is being redirected to the

shop. If this shop is co-operating with pay per click, then is getting automatically

charged in its account, otherwise is getting charged with the sale.

d. Flowchart of Interaction

In the Flowchart of Interaction below is optically explained the procedure in which bcn is

succeeding earnings by user and shop. The ways that this can be achieved are different. For

example, there are accesses through Google results, banners or promotions going to landing

pages etc. In this flowchart we can see the most possible scenario of the procedure

somebody can follows, starting from bcn’s home page.

A user has the options for finding the product he is interested in through the search engine

or the categories. In both ways and after the appropriate filtering, he will be driven to a page

with the product result. In this page, he will see the product’s details and he will compare

the prices of each shop. Continuingly and after he clicks to the price on the list, he will be

redirected to the shop. From this redirection, bcn is earning Pay Per Click (PPC) commission

from the hosting shop. While the user is at the shop, there are two options, buying or not

buying a product. If the purchase will be successful, bcn is earning the Pay Per Sale (PPS)

commission.

About the shop, there are two ways for registration. The first one is through the contact

form, in which way a representative person from bcn will contact to the merchant for giving

more info and forwarding apply for a registration. The second way is when the merchant

doesn’t need any more info and proceed to the form “Apply for Registration”. In both ways,

the merchant gives the necessary info like URL, XML, main category, VAT number etc. These

info going to be cross checked from BCN and if they fit with the its policy the shop will be

approved. After approval, the merchant will receive an activation mail with the co-operation

details and how to create an account. In that mail, the merchant by clicking on the activation

link, will be redirected to a page with all the necessary fields for the co-operation, which has

to fill and will be charged with the activation field, as long as the products are published.
