Dear Lord Jesus and Mary, Mother of God, hold all these brave souls in the palm
of your hand; comfort them and their families. Send angels of protection, love,

Right to Life-LIFESPAN
Celebrations
This is the time of year when high school and college stu-
dents look forward to that walk across the stage for
graduation. That may well not happen this year and we
know how disappointed that must make our students.
However, your accomplishments will not go unnoticed by
those who love you and have helped you achieve them. Be
proud, Class of 2020, you have survived a difficult time
and deserve a round of applause!
Alhambra is the only charitable Catholic organization here
at St. Perpetua that is co-ed. We meet on the 2nd Thurs-
day of the month right after the 7 p.m. Mass. All are wel-
come to join us. As a group, we do all that we talk about
in our mission statement above and have fun doing it.
If you are Catholic, over 18 years of age, take a look at us.
Check out our information table in the Church hall, drop
in during one of our meetings held on the 2nd Thursday
of the month, following the 7p.m. Mass, or feel free to
contact Ted Gozdzialski at 248-318-6120.

Take Five for Faith
Follow the Light
“This Little Light of Mine” has been young Christians’
joyful favorite for nearly a century. It has also been
an anthem for civil and human rights movements.
For people of faith, we who believe that Jesus has
come into the world as light, the song serves as a di-
rective to allow God’s light to shine through the ex-
ample of our lives. Reflect today on the example you
have set during difficult times. Have you given into
darkness and despair or served as a beacon of hope
and support for those around you?
Regent
Kathy Huey
Any Catholic woman who is 16 or older can join. We are
women from all walks of life - professionals, full-time
moms, retirees, the young and the young at heart. We all
belong for our own personal reasons: Meetings are held
the first Wednesday of every month (except July & Au-
gust) at 7:00 p.m. in the carpeted meeting room. We cur-
rently have approximately 35 members and are looking to
expand our membership.
Here is a prayer that was received from a very close friend
of Fr Jack. We need to pray daily to be in union with Fr
Jack because he prays this prayer daily and it gives him
great consolation.
Oh My God, you have created me
to do some definite service.
You have committed some work to me that You
have not committed to another.
I have my mission, I am a link in a chain,
a bond of connection between persons.
I will trust You, whatever, wherever I am.
If I am in sickness, my sickness will serve You.
If I am in perplexity, my perplexity may serve You.
If I am in sorrow, my sorrow may serve You.
You do nothing in vain. You know what you are about.
Though friends be taken away, though I feel desolate,
though my spirits sink,
though my future is hidden from me,
yet I will trust You, for You know what You are about.
I ask not so much to see as to be used:
through Christ our Lord, Amen
