MACHINERY INDUSTRY

Since 1990 Turkish machinery industry has performed an annual growth rate of about 20%.

Turkish machinery industry manufactures all types of machine parts and accessories in high-quality and competitive prices. The rate of domestic income in manufacturing process is around 80–85%.

In 2012 Turkish machinery industry reached 39,5 billion Dollars of foreign trade (importation-exportation) size and as of this year the share of machinery industry exportation within total exportation reached to 7%.

To enable machinery industry to receive 100 billions share from 500 billions total exportation rate aimed for year 2023, the current value must be elevated to %20 in 2023.

In 2012, the equivalent rate of exportation against importation has been 39,2%. The measures to take for the aim of increasing this level constitute great importance for machinery industry and various other industries that machinery industry provides incomes.

TEXTILE MACHINERY INDUSTRY

296 million dollars of exportation against 1 billon 814 million dollars of importation. In textile industry where machinery importation is still prominent, domestic machinery manufacturers draw attention by virtue of increasing their exportation share 10 times more for the last 10 years.

In 1999 exportation rate of Turkish textile machinery and accessories industry was 27 million dollars while in the subsequent 10 years the industry multiplied its share 10 times and as of 2009 the share reached to 270 million dollars, in 2011 to 296 million dollars and in 2012 to 300 million dollars. In this global industry with 24 billion dollars of size, Turkey ranks as the 16th country with the greatest share in exportation.
