Sri Lanka – 10 Mar: A man wearing a suicide vest detonated in a crowd at a Muslim celebration in Akuressa killing 15 and wounding 60.

India – 28 Feb: Maoists detonated 2 bombs in railroad stations in Orissa

Turkey – 7 Mar: A bomb detonated in a bar in the north wounding 9

Russia – 5 Mar: 5 policemen were killed and 3 wounded while trying to render safe a radio controlled IED (RCIED) on a road in Ingushetia

Somalia – 11 Mar: A roadside IED detonated near a passing car killing a former security chief and wounding 2 others

Algeria – 7 Mar: A suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt detonated at a security post in Tadmait killing 4 and wounding 10
