PREVENT SLIP, TRIP, AND FALL.

One of the most common accidents for cleaning workers is slipping on wet floors or tripping over an object. A fall may cause a serious injury (for example, head injuries, broken bones), bruises, sprains, or strains.

Clean all spills immediately. Mark spills and wet areas with warning signs and barricades. Mop or sweep debris from floors. Remove obstacles from walkways and always keep them free of clutter. Secure mats, rugs, and carpets that do not lay flat by tacking or taping them

down. Always close file cabinet or storage drawers. Cover cords and cables that cross walkways. Keep working areas and walkways well lit.
