BETA Receives Gost R (Russia) Approval

BETA pressure and temperature switches have recently received Gost R approval for ordinary locations. A certificate of compliance has been issued for the BETA, C, Z, V and W series pressure and temperature switches. This certificate confi rms that the above BETA switch models comply with Gost R standards.

Additionally, the W and C series received the RTN permit and Gost R certifi cate for hazardous areas. The W series is certified to Ex hazardous standards, while the C Series with I option complies with intrinsically safe Exia /ib design standards

BETA, C,Z,V and W Series Pressure and Temperature Switches

For hazardous locations, the RTN permit is required along with the Gost R approval. The Gost R approvals allow BETA switches to be sold and distributed throughout the territory of theRussian Federation.

The specific area classification approvals are:

• C Series - ExiaIICT4/T5/T6 or ExibIICT4/T5/T6 • W Series - ExdIICT5/T6
