    The plastic housing on the sensor is electricallyconductive. Avoid contact with any electrical components.It is acceptable to mount the sensor on grounded sheetmetal such as ductwork, electrical panels, etc.

    Use extreme care when mounting the sensor to avoiddamage to the plastic housing. Do not overtighten themounting screws! Do not use mounting screws which aretoo large for the holes!

    When The Sensor Is Used As A DuctIt May Be Mounted To The

    Ductwork Near The Static Pressure Pickup Tube. IfThe Sensor Is Mounted In This Manner, Away

    From The Controller, The Modular Plug Must BeCut Off And 3-conductor 24 Gauge Minimum WireMust Be Butt Spliced To The Sensor Leads. TheController Has A Terminal Block Which IsParalleled With The Modular Jack To Allow WiringConnections. Total Wire Length Should NotExceed 100Ft. If Desired The Sensor May Also BeLocated Near The Controller, With The ModularPlug On The Sensor Directly Connected To TheMating Controller Jack. When This Method Is UsedTubing Must Be Run From The Sensor To TheStaic Pressure Pickup Tube. Tubing Should NotExceed 250 Ft. And Must Be Continuous WithoutAny Splices.

    StaticPressure Sensor

    1.) The Pressure Sensor Should Be Mounted In A Vertical Position As ShownWith Arrow Pointing Up. ( Tubing ConnectionsPointing Down). If This Mounting Position Is NotPossible In Your Application, It May Be Mounted InA Horizontal Position. When Mounted In AHorizontal Position Accuracy Will Be Affected ByApproximately 2% Full Scale Null Shift Due ToDiaphragm Gravity Effect Error.
