Press Release - uPVC Workshop New Delhi

McCoy Soudal organized a special training workshop for uPVC window & door manufacturers on “How to increase performance of uPVC windows with McCoy Soudal Fenestration Package” at the corporate office in delhi on Friday, July 13th, 2012. McCoy Soudal is planning to organise such workshops in different locations like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune & Coimbatore. Since the usage of uPVC in fenestration is growing at a rapid pace in our country. Majority is sealing the gaps around the windows without proper understanding of the used materials with regards to Solar, Sound, Safety, Security and Monsoon implications. This is an initiative of McCoy Soudal, which shares its international experience and knowledge with industry in selecting the right kind of products in regards to gaps sealing with their correct application, which will enhance installation and overall performance of uPVC windows by providing the following: Solar insulation

o Provide good insulation to window o Silicon sealing with non-conducting

properties Sound insulation

o How can you reduce sound Monsoon proof

o A special product for heavy torrential rains

Extra strengthtowindow o Allow you to develop large size

windows o Windows to withstand high wind

speeds

This session had live demonstrations and videos to make the training more educational and interesting. Efforts were made to create an informal atmosphere and foster interaction between techno-commercial people and the participants over high tea.

This workshop has been attended by 44 participants from 18 leading uPVC window manufacturers from the North India.

During this workshop uPVC window manufacturers got hands on practical experience of “Right Product for Right Application” for their windows installation.
