The event committee for the 2018 Red White & Blues patriotic gala announced its 2018 party will be held Saturday October 27, 2018 in the ballroom at Pinstripes located in Oak Brook Center.
The event proceeds will benefit Operation Support Our Troops-America (OSOT-A) , a top rated military charity headquartered in Naperville, IL. Founded in 2003, OSOT-A, http://www.osotamerica.org/ , is a grassroots effort that has become one of the largest volunteer based military support organizations in the country. Over 500 volunteers give well over 10,000 hours each year in service.
Their mission is to support the morale and well being of American military forces by providing comfort, resources and education to them and their families both while they are deployed in harm’s way and after their return. In addition to the various veteran support programs OSOT-A offers, since inception, they have sent out over 2 million pounds of care packages that have impacted over 700,000 troops worldwide.
This years event is the 4th Red, White and Blues chaired by event founders Dave and Chris Pequet of Hinsdale. Since the first event in 2014 their efforts have contributed nearly $200,000 to the charity. Dave stated “Chris and I could not be more proud to spearhead this event again. The continued support of our friends and the community benefiting the mission of OSOT-A has been very rewarding”.
Gary Fencik, 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champion, is master of ceremonies and the Chicago Blues All Stars will provide live music. The event starts at 7p.m. and will have food, drink and an impressive silent auction. Tickets are $150 and can be purchased on the RWB website: www.redwhiteandblues.org

In September 2014 the first annual patriotic charity event; Red, White and Blues benefiting Operation Support Our Troops-America, was held at McGrath Acura and was a great success. The event was created and supported by Hinsdale/Oak Brook residents. On October 27, 2018 the fourth annual event will be held at Pinstripes in Oak Brook Mall. You can help support the event by donating a silent auction item. Silent Auction Items: Merchandise, services, sports memorabilia. You will be listed in our program brochure, on the event website, post event thank you ad and receive recognition at the prize table.
