"My aim as a choreographer is to move people's hearts and minds and lift people's spirits. Dance has somehow become a highbrow medium inaccessible for people new to the art of dance. We all have bodies that move to and from work, we all have minds that crave beauty, we all have spirits that need to be lifted. Dance does all of the above! How hard can it be to fall in love with dance?"

Flexicurve is a New York based multi-disciplinary dance company directed by Pascal Rekoert. The company's views are not of limitations but to embrace all aspects of humanity. Through exuberant and witty choreography, the audience is engaged in dialogues of social issues and values. With an objective to communicate the vision of a just and humane world. Flexicurve strives to push the boundaries of diverse art forms. Refusing to stay "inside the box" Rekoert has created an exciting repertory which has been performed in theaters and dance spaces in the Tri-State area, and toward the US and Western Europe. Described as possessing "a magnetic and intricate stage presence" and being as "honest as primary colors". Flexicurve is known for its high artistic standards and innovative movement vocabulary.
