ARC is owned by the 5 municipalities of the capital city ofCopenhagen. ARC is responsible for waste management, recyclingand energy production as well as educational efforts

Welcome to CopenHill!An urban mountain placed on top of a state-of-the-art waste-to-energyplant, which is one of the best and most complicated of its kind in theworld. The plant produces environmental friendly energy with the newesttechnology, by burning waste and turning the exhaust into energy, thatyearly provides the city of Copenhagen with electricity for 30,000households and central heating for 72,000 households.

The ski slope in the roof top park is 450m long, and varies from 45% at thesteepest part to 14% at the lower part of the slope. The top part of theslope is categorised as black, the middle is red/blue and the lower part isgreen. There are a total of 4 ski lifts transporting people to the top.Included on the ski slope is a freestyle park, a timed slalom course and akids area. On the side of the slope, there will be a hiking/running trail thatis total 490m long and ends at the top of the building in the height of 85m.This is also where the climbing wall will end, which is 85m high and thetallest artificial climbing wall in North Europe.

On the top of the “mountain” there will be a restaurant serving healthyDanish dishes, and in the bottom of the slope you will find our ski center,comprising a café/afterski-bar, ski rental and our Salomon brand store.
