You know the song, "June Is Bursting Out All Over?" As I sit in my recliner, it's bursting with a downpour of much needed rain. Hope all of you are getting enough for your lawns and gardens...We already have had a tropical storm, Alberto, pass by and not really anything except more rain...It's just a reminder now we are in the hurricane season and we all pray for those storms to stay away. Our May 24th meeting was a great success with our business meeting and then time for our UFO painting and sharing what we did at conference. We discussed possible upcoming months with Vicki leading and sharing. She will share in her report. The discussion went very well and all were interested and cared about each item. That is called team work! Congratulations to our Andie Scott for getting certified for the ADP! It was all done in color pencil and so beautiful! This next meeting is June 23rd. Deanna will lead us in painting a gerber daisy. We anticipate a great turnout. Be sure to bring your lunch with you. We will meet at 10 a.m. In July on the 28th, Mary Francis will teach and share "Carolina Leaves." A lot of green paint. (continued on Page 2) NEXT MEETING INFORMATION Where? (continued from Page 1) Be sure to look at each supply list and be ready. The ensuing months hold so many great teachers coming in to share with us. Plot your calendar for each month and be ready. We discussed reaching out to young people. Andie Scott will look into the Baptist Children's Home to see if they would like us to come teach and share. We gathered up a lot of art graphics to share and it is now on file. Many of them I pulled from the Dover Publications Sampler email. Photo boxes were also distributed again and this is a reminder to work on yours to give to Andie. We have had some members ill and in the hospital. Be sure to reach out to LaMoyne Meeks and she is better now from pre-pneumonia. Michelle Mueller has had shoulder surgery. All prayers for all of you for healing where needed!

If you want to be on the nominating committee, please let me know as that time is soon approaching. Enjoy your summer, heat and rain included! Stay safe while traveling. See you soon! With paint brush in hand, Barbara Fowler CRDA President
