President’s AddressCongratulations to all our award winners tonight.

It has been an incredible privilege to serve you in my first year as President of the Ontario Hunter Jumper Association.

With admiration and respect, I have witnessed the scope of work that all our members put into getting horses ready for the ring on a weekly basis. I also admire the commitment that many Juniors who attend school and Amateurs who spend their hard earned dollars for this amazing sport have. Not to be ignored are the trainers and grooms who spend hours helping everyone to achieve their best results and keep our equine athletes in top form.

Forging ahead in 2015, the OHJA will be continuing with planned programs and initiatives to help refine and improve the skills of Juniors and Amateurs and also provide recognition for those developing horses as athletes. OHJA Board members have been planning furiously to ensure Ontario riders continue to represent us proudly in National & International competition.

Please remember to renew your 2015 OHJA membership early to avoid the disappointment of not seeing your name on the standings next season. Remember that you must provide a copy of your membership at each event and that the rider/owner/leasee must all be members in order to accrue points in respective classes or divisions.

The Board of Directors and I would like to wish you all the best for the upcoming holiday season and look forward to seeing you 2015.
