Everyone at the club is anxious to en- sure that your expectations are met, so please do not hesitate to ask any question of the staff or Rick. The golf course is improving each week, and obviously is always subject to Mother Nature. Several improvements are visible in many areas around the course. Please bear in mind that it is still very early in Rocco’s tenure and he is well aware of all the tasks that need to be accomplished. You can help too by taking pride in our beautiful course and observing good course etiquette. Always repair your ball marks and a few others, replace your divots and use the divot mix as needed both in the fairway and rough. An excellent benchmark is whether you could play a good shot from that identical spot if your ball landed there tomorrow. Also use the cart paths as much as possible by observing the 90 degree rule and keeping all four wheels on the path, especially near the tees and greens. In the past months I have repeatedly thanked you for supporting our club. I want to take this thought a step further with a respectful reminder to support our Pro Shop as well. For more than two decades Rick and Mary Lee have operated an upscale shop and have gone to great lengths to work with our members. Thank you for your generous patronage of this valuable BCC asset again this season! As our 2015 membership initiative draws to a close, I’d like to again ask that we all continue to serve as BCC ambassadors to interest friends and associates in our membership options. Another opportunity is to inquire with former members as to their thoughts of rejoining BCC. As always Rick and the Membership Committee are available to assist in these matters. The following is a breakdown of the our membership categories: Resident 164, Senior Active 31, Special Senior Active 5, Associate 44, Lady Golf 4, and House 120. Our total membership is 362 with 24 new members added this year. Your Board is constantly trying to come up with ways to market your club, and with that we need your help. If at any time you know of a potential member please reach out to us so that they can be introduced to the facility. The current Membership Drive created 24 new members for the 2015 season which is a job well done by you the membership. Thank you for your support and I wish you a great summer.

The Ladies 9 Hole League got off to a great start with The Opening Day Tournament on May 6th. The weather was perfect for our first day of golf for the 2015 season. Coming in first place was the team of Heather Fiske,Robin Peretore, Kathy Tomko and Gina Cataldo. The second place team was Beth Akel, Donna Ciaravino and Sue Klucka. After golf, everyone enjoyed a luncheon buffet and 3 lucky ladies won the terrarium centerpieces.

The “9 holers” braved the elements on May 13th and May 20th, when the temps dipped into the forties with 20 mph winds.
