What is Preservapedia?
Preservapedia focuses specifically on technical material related to cultural resource management and its allied fields.Similar in format to the popular platform of Wikipedia, the free, web-based, collaborative encyclopedia project, this website is developed collaboratively by a community of users and any user can add and edit content.
Scope of Project
This project focused primarily on developing templates for authors to submit articles to the Cultural Landscape Category. The templates relate to specific treatments for landscape preservation inclusive of (but not limited to) preservationplanning, documentation, treatment and maintenance. Authors will have an easier time uploading content with a
consistent style and format. This will provide a useful resource for anyone interested in landscape preservation.
This article defines museology as the study of museums and howthey have established and developed - not only their collectionbut their mission, position in the community and audience overtime.
