(PER-346)

The Surveillance Detection for Bombing Prevention course provides public safety and security professionals fundamental knowledge and skills to recognize and respond appropriately to hostile surveillance at facilities and planned and unplanned events.

Course Format and AudienceThis is a three-day, in-person instructor-led training covering the following topics: • Hostile operations• Vulnerability assessment• Hostile surveillance requirements• Surveillance detection requirements and

fundamentals• Activity reporting and response• Compromise and deployment

This course is designed for groups of up to 25 participants and is intended for audiences such as: • Critical infrastructure owners and operators• Public safety officers• Emergency managers• Security officers• Law enforcement officers• Private sector security professionals

Accreditation The Office for Bombing Prevention (OBP) is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to award Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for this course: • International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET) – 2.0 CEUs• Police Officer Standards and Training (POST), if approved by the student's state, may award 20 CEUs
