ADVENTURE MIAKONDA is pleased to offer our introduction to summer camp summer program for girls ages 6 – 8 years old, called Stepping Stones. If your daughter would like the opportunity to participate in an overnight camp, then our Stepping Stones program is a terrific ‘first step’ to experience all of the benefits that an outdoor camp has to offer.
Stepping Stones takes place on Birch Island, Lake Wah Wash Kesh, located near Parry Sound. Beautiful and remote, the 23-acre Birch Island has been the summer home of Camp Mi-A-Kon-Da for over 60 years.

For Girls ages 6, 7, 8
The Stepping Stones program provides a short 3-day overnight adventure camp with other girls of similar age to experience outdoor camp activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, canoeing, sailing, climbing, archery, outdoor camping skills, nature education, kayaking and more. Girls will meet new friends, explore the outdoors, learn new camp songs and roast marshmallows over a campfire! The ADVENTURE MIAKONDA experience is the perfect stepping stone for young girls to feel confident in transitioning to a 2 or 4 week summer camping experience.
