Guru divas 2k17 was celebrated with full enthusiasm

in the department of computer science and

engineering by the students.

The celebration initated with the description of role

of a teacher in shaping an indiviual’s mind. It was

followed by the lovely performances by the

students. Several games and activities were planned

for the teachers by the students. It was truly

memorable event.

Engineers Day on 15 September is

celebrated in the loving memory of

great Indian engineer Sir Moksha

Gundam Visvesvaraya who was born

on this day in1860.

This day was celebrated with full

ebullience in the Department of

Computer Science and Engineering.

Two new brand shows "KAUN BANEGA

CHAMPION” and "LET'S CONNECT

WITH COFFEE AND

CONVERSATION”were launched by

the Department on the eve of

Engineer's Day.

More than 200 students participated

in KBC and Top 6 contestants were

rewarded according to their

performance in the finale round.

Let's connect with Coffee and

Conversation: A brand new talk show

was also launched and Mr. Rakesh

Tayal was invited as the first special

guest.

Mr. Rakesh Tayal also shares his

birthday with the Engineer's Day.

Students of CSE dedicated a special

video to him and developed a

website for him.

Orientation program was

organized for 2nd

year

students by CSI.The welcome

and introduction of the 2nd

year students was done. The

interaction session was

arranged between the new

and senior students.
