What are Insulated Concrete

• ICF consist of two panels of EPS foam

• Both panels of insulation are held together with cross ties or “webs”integrally molded into the foam to create a block or “form unit”

• Insulation: Usually expanded (EPS) or

ICF’s• Whenever applying Codes

to ICF's, the most ideal approach is to think of an ICF wall as a monolithic flat reinforced concrete wall with foam plastic insulation applied to both sides of the concrete core.
